The reserves in Bikita have been geologically assessed and confirmed to be economically viable for mining operations. The proposed extraction method for lithium in Bikita is open-pit mining. Open-pit mining involves the removal of overlying soil and rock to access the lithium-bearing ore deposits. Once exposed, the ore is extracted, crushed, and then processed using various techniques to concentrate the lithium content. Subsequently, the concentrated lithium is further processed to produce high-grade lithium carbonate or lithium hydroxide, which are essential components of lithium-ion batteries.
